Job summary

Industrial Access, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure the safety of personnel at client sites. You will work with project managers and site supervisors to implement safety policies and comply with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities include site inspections, safety training, incident investigations, and maintaining records. Travel up to 100% is required, with expenses paid and a competitive hourly rate with OT.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction field safety experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Knowledge of relevant OSHA regs (LOTO, Confined Space, etc.).
• Experience creating reports/presentations in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel 100% to job sites and coordinate travel arrangements.
• MSHA knowledge is a plus.

Industrial Access Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety of Industrial Access personnel at client sites. You will work closely with our project managers and site supervisors to implement and enforce safety policies and procedures that comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for the site
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
• Provide safety training to all personnel on the construction site
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions
• Document, track and maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Prepare various standard and ad hoc reports using Excel and PowerPoint

Required Skills And Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction field safety
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant OSHA regulations and standards (LOTO, Confined Space, etc)
• Experience creating and maintaining reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to travel 100% and comfortable making flight, hotel, rental car reservations.
• Knowledge of MSHA is a plus

Target Rate: $30+/hr + OT (1.5x) for any hours over 8 per day or 40 per week.

Travel: On the road, up to 100% travel.

Location: Candidates can live anywhere in the U.S. with easy access to a major airport.

Expenses: All travel expenses are paid by IA + $50 per diem for meals.
