Job summary

TINCI MATERIALS invites a Civil & Installation Engineer to join the Owner’s project team on a large-scale industrial construction project in Baytown, Texas. You will coordinate civil, structural, and mechanical installation activities on site, and work with Owner, GC, subcontractors, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, construction engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of construction site experience on industrial projects.
• Experience with heavy civil construction, piping, and mechanical installations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction activities comply with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Review field conditions and provide technical direction.
• Monitor methods to ensure constructability and efficiency.
• Serve as on-site technical liaison between Owner, General Contractor, subcontractors, and engineering teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field change coordination.
• Participate in weekly coordination and progress meetings.
• Support documentation and reporting, including ITPs and quality milestones.
• Assist with commissioning readiness and system turnover.
