Job summary

SPX Technologies – Cincinnati Fan is seeking a reliable Assembler for the second shift to build industrial fans and blowers from engineering drawings, work instructions, and precision tools. You will inspect, test, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards while collaborating with the manufacturing team.

You will read work orders and follow blueprints, operate calipers and micrometers, and communicate any issues to supervisors. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, maintenance, construction, automotive, or other relevant hands-on experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to use basic hand and power tools safely; experience with electro-mechanical equipment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, maintain clean work areas, and ensure safe operations.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and verify against drawings and quality requirements.
• Operate drills, grinders, torque tools, calipers and micrometers to assemble components.
• Assemble components by hand or with tools per work instructions and drawings.
• Coordinate staging of parts and production items and load/unload using hand trucks or jacks.
• Mark parts, attach nameplates, and document issues.
