Job summary

Integrity Staffing Services is seeking a hands-on Facility Technician in Virginia Beach, VA to handle preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general upkeep of the building, grounds, and facility equipment.

You will perform routine and emergency repairs, monitor HVAC systems, operate forklifts and lifts, and assist with moves and installations while working safely at heights and in both office and factory settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance/facilities experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with building and facility maintenance.
• HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Comfortable operating or learning to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts and working at heights.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Self-motivated, reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency building maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor and maintain building HVAC systems.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and general facility repairs.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Support office moves, furniture moves, and factory equipment moves.
• Assist with manufacturing equipment maintenance as needed.
• Maintain building grounds and support general facility upkeep.
• Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Work safely at heights when required.
• Order and maintain materials and supplies needed to complete assigned work.
