Job summary

Milacron in Ohio is seeking a qualified Facilities Painter for the Batavia and Mt. Orab sites. The role maintains the aesthetic and protective quality of buildings by applying paint, varnish, and other finishes, and supports general maintenance tasks.

You will prepare surfaces, apply finishes with brushes, rollers, or spray, inspect areas, manage materials, and follow safety guidelines. The position is part of the Facility Maintenance team and involves occasional setup of ladders, equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years painting experience preferred.
• Ability to work at heights; Boom Lift training will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
• Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel and other finishes.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Inspect areas to plan work and estimate materials.
• Apply finishes with brushes, rollers, or spray equipment; remove old paint as needed.
• Set up ladders or scaffolding for work at height; protect surrounding areas.
