Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a Facility Manager to create a safe, productive work environment and maintain regulatory compliance while achieving acceptable profit margins. The role includes training staff, leading safety audits, and driving cost control and revenue opportunities.

The position requires experience in chemical manufacturing or related industries, a strong safety record, and proven people management skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing P&L and leading teams in manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience in safety performance and EHS compliance.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfortable with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and environmentally compliant practices and procedures per Company SOPs.
• Provide training to tank technicians and facility staff; assign daily tasks during shifts.
• Conduct daily, weekly and quarterly safety audits; lead monthly safety meetings.
• Oversee building, grounds and equipment maintenance with lead personnel and vendor quotes.
• Contribute input on annual capital expenditure projects for the facility.
• Maintain regulatory compliance reporting with federal/state agencies or local municipalities.
• Maintain waste logs and coordinate shipments of waste off-site.
• Hire, discipline, reward, and terminate employees per policy.
