Job summary

TRUMPF North America is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Systems Technician to maintain and optimize building systems in a manufacturing environment in Cranbury, NJ. You will inspect, operate, and maintain HVAC and building automation, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a relevant certification, and 6+ years of maintenance experience, including NJ boiler licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Facility Maintenance Systems Technician certification (BOMI, SMRP, TPC or community college).
• Minimum 6+ years manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• NJ Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and maintain HVAC, mechanical and building automation systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on air handlers, boilers, pumps and related equipment.
• Execute minor repairs (light bulbs, drywall, fixtures, hardware).
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical drawings and service manuals.
• Use computerized work order systems to track and manage maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and installations.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on‑call after‑hours support.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations and participate in required training.
