Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in New Jersey to inspect, operate, and maintain HVAC, mechanical and building automation systems across facilities.

The role performs routine maintenance on air handlers, boilers, pumps and related equipment and coordinates with contractors for repairs and installations. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, a Facility Maintenance Systems Technician certification, and at least 6 years of manufacturing or industrial

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Facility Maintenance Systems Technician certification (BOMI, SMRP, TPC or community college).
• Minimum 6+ years manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• NJ Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and maintain HVAC, mechanical and building automation systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on air handlers, boilers, pumps and related equipment.
• Execute minor repairs (light bulbs, drywall, fixtures, hardware).
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical drawings and service manuals.
• Use computerized work order systems to track and manage maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and installations.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call after-hours support.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations and participate in required training.
