Job summary

The Facility Maintenance Technician at AAON, Inc. will oversee the upkeep of the facility, including infrastructure, machinery, and equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include inspections, electrical and plumbing work, coordinating with vendors, maintaining safety records, and contributing to a safe, efficient environment in a manufacturing setting. High school diploma and relevant trade certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with trade certification in Electrical, Millwright, Plumber/Pipefitter, HVAC, Welder, or Sheet Metal.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial or facility maintenance.
• Preferred: current material handling certification, Lock Out/Tag Out, Lifting & Rigging, preventive or predictive maintenance, journeyman licensing.

Responsibilities

• Inspects facility to identify maintenance issues and perform repairs.
• Conducts routine maintenance such as system checks, plumbing, and electrical inspections.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment (pumps, motors, generators).
• Coordinates with external vendors for specialized repairs.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance; participates in safety training.
• Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities.
