Job summary

JLL in Brookville, OH seeks a hands-on Utility Person to support our client's manufacturing facility. This role blends industrial maintenance with facilities upkeep to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will work with the Facility Manager on cleaning, waste handling, light carpentry, plumbing and inventory tasks while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Location is on-site with multiple shifts; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse operations, or production support environments.
Experience operating forklifts and other mobile equipment with safety protocols.
Knowledge of facility standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Superior customer service and professionalism under stress.

Responsibilities

Perform industrial machine cleaning including pump out and honing of machinery, machine filter changes, and proper disposal of production waste in compliance with plant processes.
Operate maintenance and cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and industrial vacuum systems to maintain facility cleanliness and organization standards.
Assist the Facility Manager with light building maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general cleaning as needed or requested.
Collect and properly dispose of production waste, machine chips, filters, and recycling materials according to site standards and environmental compliance requirements.
Provide support for parts and maintenance inventory supplies required for Facilities, Maintenance, and Production Departments.
Preserve safe and clean work environments by following workplace organization standards and safety procedures while maintaining professionalism under various situations.
Execute facility-specific assistance and other general facilities support as requested by the Facility Manager to meet team goals and objectives.
