Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Designer to support design and coordination of building systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure for industrial clients.

You will develop 2D/3D deliverables using AutoCAD and Revit and coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams on complex projects. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong technical design capabilities, and willingness to travel 10-30% across the United States.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; develop construction drawings and BIM models.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary building systems and industrial facility designs.
• Ability to interpret laser scan data, point clouds, and existing facility information.
• Experience with Navisworks, BIM coordination, and clash detection workflows.
• Experience supporting construction administration and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate design packages for industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers.
• Prepare 2D and 3D deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
• Produce facility layouts, equipment arrangements, and utility distribution plans.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Support project execution activities including scope development and scheduling.
