Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Booster Operator in Ohio to safely execute manufacturing processes within the Booster Department. This role involves handling explosive materials, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, possess a valid driver's license, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Driver's license required.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing or explosive/chemical handling preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with equipment operation knowledge.
• Must meet state and federal explosive laws and ATF criteria.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and SOPs for handling explosive products.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report hazards in production area.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors to troubleshoot issues.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing vehicles as needed.
• Maintain compliant records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leads or managers.
• Other duties as assigned.
