Job summary

Austin Powder in Ohio is seeking a safety-conscious Mix Plant Operator to join the Booster Department. You will follow written work instructions, inspect products, identify hazards, operate equipment, troubleshoot with supervision, and obtain necessary forklift and box truck certifications.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, 18+ years old, and the ability to work varied shifts, overtime, and in challenging environments while maintaining accuracy and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license and 18+ years old.
Ability to meet ATF explosive processor requirements.
1+ years manufacturing or explosive/chemical manufacturing experience.
Able to operate with minimal supervision and follow procedures.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in loud environments.

Responsibilities

Follow safety protocols and written work instructions for packaging and handling explosives.
Inspect manufactured products for accuracy and quality.
Identify hazards in the production area and report them.
Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
Obtain forklift and box truck certification within required timeframe.
Work varied shifts and overtime as demanded by production.
