Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Booster Operator to safely and efficiently execute manufacturing processes in the Booster Department. This role involves handling explosive materials, operating specialized equipment, and adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-risk environment, and capable of maintaining accurate production documentation and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• ATF explosive processor qualification per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions and SOPs for handling explosive products.
• Inspect manufactured products for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report hazards in the production area.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with supervisors to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records per regulatory standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area lead or manager.
