Jobot is hiring an Industrial Estimator to support industrial construction and coatings projects. This role combines field and drawing takeoffs to produce accurate cost estimates that drive competitive bids.

You will review plans, gather data from site visits, and collaborate with operations and management to shape project budgets and bid strategies. The position emphasizes vendor negotiation and rigorous documentation in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

• Perform drawing takeoffs and quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Conduct field takeoffs and site visits to gather project information and verify scope requirements.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and field teams to develop project budgets and bid strategies.
• Track estimate revisions and maintain organized bid documentation.
• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts to support accurate pricing.
• Assist with proposal preparation and bid submissions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
