Equipment Depot is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and related equipment in Lexington, KY. You will diagnose, repair, and test units, ensuring safety and quality before returning equipment to service.

The role requires basic mechanical experience, ability to read and interpret manuals, and a valid driver’s license. Strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential in this full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or equivalent education/experience.
• 1 year of related mechanical experience or training, or both, is expected.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Accepts assigned work orders from Service Dispatcher, Planner and Manager to diagnose and plan repairs.
• Makes mechanical repairs after inspection and approval by the Service Manager/Shop Lead.
• Writes complete repair descriptions on work orders with model, serial numbers, and hour readings.
• Lubricates moving parts and tests repaired units to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Final sign-off on shop work orders prior to invoicing.
