Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. through HPC-Industrial is seeking an Equipment Service Technician for the Houston, TX area.

The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment used on vapor control and degassing systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and PID loop controllers. Responsibilities include installing and modifying control devices, supporting field supervisors, and performing routine maintenance and safety-first operations in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or 1 year electrical or equivalent experience; military service acceptable.
• Experience with PLCs, PID loops, VFDs and HMIs.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• TWIC card required within 30 days; company will reimburse.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and modify PLCs, PID loops, VFDs, HMIs and control devices.
• Provide technical support for Field Supervisors and Equipment Operators.
• Perform retrofit/modifications and routine equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrate safe work habits in an industrial setting.
• Travel within the US with some overnight stays (10%+).
