Job summary

Hanwha Philly Shipyard, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Rental Coordinator to manage rental demand plans, deployment schedules by vessel and project, and maintain centralized records of equipment, vendors, and budgets.

You will monitor utilization, confirm returns, coordinate with production, procurement, finance, and suppliers, and provide regular reports while seeking cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations, finance, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in equipment rental, fleet coordination, logistics, maintenance planning, production, procurement, or project coordination preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and report preparation.
• Experience with ERP, procurement, CMMS, or equipment-management systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, heavy manufacturing, construction, or another industrial environment preferred.
• Korean bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage rental equipment demand plans and deployment schedules by vessel, project, and production process.
• Maintain a centralized record of equipment type, vendor, location, project, user, rental period, rate, and return date.
• Monitor equipment utilization, rental periods, status, and scheduled returns.
• Confirm return dates in advance and ensure equipment is returned on time.
• Identify idle or underutilized rental equipment and coordinate transfers or returns.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Finance, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide regular reports on equipment demand, deployment, utilization, rental status, and cost savings.
• Develop and improve rental equipment procedures, tracking tools, controls, and reporting standards within Maintenance.
