Job summary

GreenWaste is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to keep processing equipment running with minimal downtime. You will support one or more facilities from our San Jose office and may travel as needed.

Requirements include 2+ years of mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a physical role with safety gear and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on processing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Safely remove guards and clean inside them.
• Clean idlers, chutes, and floors to keep debris-free work areas.
• Use compressed air and PPE to keep equipment clean and safe.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and maintain proper documentation.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to changing daily conditions.
