Job summary

Helion Group in Jerome, Idaho, is seeking a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to keep machines running safely and minimize downtime.

You will replace bearings, grease equipment, service pumps, valves, and gearboxes, and work with 480V electrical systems. Reading HMI screens, identifying faults, and safely executing Lockout/Tagout procedures are

Qualifications

Basic mechanical repair knowledge.
Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors, contactors, sensors, 480V).
Ability to read an HMI and identify faults.
Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices.
Able to troubleshoot independently and perform maintenance safely.

Responsibilities

Replace bearings and grease equipment as needed.
Take apart, repair, and rebuild pumps, valves, and gearboxes.
Safely work with 480V electrical systems.
Replace contactors, sensors, and other electrical components.
Read HMI screens to identify machine faults and alarms.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems to get equipment running again.
Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment working properly and prevent breakdowns.
