Job summary

Collectors is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our Boca Raton, FL office. You will perform preventative maintenance on a range of equipment, collaborate with Engineering to optimize PM schedules, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality production for our collectors’ items.

You will work with cross-functional teams, upgrade machinery, and contribute to maintenance logs and best practices, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven, relevant experience as a maintenance tech.
• Hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Responds well to direction and feedback.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division).
• Basic computer skills (Email, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
• Curious and eager to learn new processes and systems; share knowledge with teammates.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding each piece contributes to quality.
• Respectful, inclusive behavior; positive intent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Ultrasonic Welders, RF Welders, Laser Cutters, Air Compressors and Supply Lines, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and track PM schedules for process machinery.
• Perform unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting; communicate issues promptly.
• Execute machine upgrades and testing with a Collector Obsession mindset.
• Partner with Engineering and Production to implement maintenance logs and best practices.
• Identify root causes and opportunities for equipment and process improvements.
• Work with cross-functional groups to determine standard maintenance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
