Job summary

Siltronic is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Tech II to install, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and process systems at our Portland facility. You will troubleshoot, modify, assemble, and maintain complex equipment, read engineering drawings, and document repairs and calibrations with SAP and SPC tools.

You will work with warehouse and vendors to source parts, maintain records, and pursue certifications while upholding safety and housekeeping

Qualifications

• Read and understand engineering drawings, safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.
• Proficient in DOS, Microsoft Office, SAP and SPC software.
• Strong math and analytical skills with ability to interpret graphs and charts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize the effectiveness of equipment.
• Install, modify, assemble and maintain equipment and process supply systems.
• Identify sources for repair parts from warehouse, vendors, and fabricated parts.
• Complete repairs by removing, repairing and replacing components and discuss findings with operators, engineers and other technicians.
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, tests, and spare parts.
• Achieve basic proficiency certification for equipment and continuously improve knowledge.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow all safety rules and regulations.
