Job summary

LGH GmbH in Troy, MI is seeking a mechanically inclined technician to maintain and prepare rental hoisting and rigging equipment for safe, ready-to-use deployment. You will inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic gear, and perform preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, loading and unloading vehicles, transporting equipment, and driving company vehicles for orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools beneficial; rigging equipment experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect for quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test hoisting equipment (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
