Job summary

Wolter, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking Field Service Technicians to travel to customer sites and repair powered industrial equipment, including forklift trucks and floor care gear. A company van, laptop, iPad, credit card, and cell phone are provided to support service calls.

Qualifications

• Two years of repair experience on forklifts or similar equipment.
• Excellent customer orientation and communication.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Own the required tools for repairs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be certified to operate MHE (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Complete all service jobs assigned.
• Communicate with the Road Lead Technician for issues or help.
• Attend service training classes to stay current on products.
• Submit daily paperwork (timecards, maintenance reports).
• Coordinate with dispatcher for new jobs.
• Identify jobs to send to the shop when needed.
• Build relationships with territory sales reps.
• Adhere to safety rules and policies.
