Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering, business, or industrial tech degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years in technical or aftermarket sales or related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, induction heating, or capital equipment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Identify aftermarket sales opportunities through routine contact and account reviews.
• Prepare quotations for replacement parts, service, upgrades, and maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with engineering, service, manufacturing, purchasing, and scheduling to develop quotes and delivery commitments.
• Recommend maintenance programs to improve uptime and reduce downtime.
• Promote service agreements, maintenance contracts, calibration services, and inspection programs.
• Assist customers in identifying obsolescence and recommend replacements or upgrades.
• Review equipment histories to identify recurring maintenance needs and upgrade opportunities.
• Respond promptly to inquiries on pricing, availability, lead times, and technical questions.
• Maintain CRM records, quotations, opportunities, and sales forecasts.
• Follow up on quotations to improve conversion rates.
• Support warranty evaluations and issue resolution with engineering and service.
