Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Environmental Technician II to join their safety-conscious team in Los Angeles, CA. The role operates waste treatment equipment and hand tools on industrial projects, following established procedures and client requirements.

You will support field operations, perform routine maintenance, and promote safety while adhering to company policies. A high school diploma and OSHA basics are required; 1+ year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related experience preferred.
• May require TWIC credential.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Basic safety courses including OSHA training required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating industrial waste treatment equipment and power tools according to site rules.
• Check equipment at shift start; connect/disconnect hoses with proper tools as directed.
• Clean, install, and repair valves, hoses, pumps, and related components; maintain a clean work area.
• Inspect equipment, hoses, connections, and area; report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Wear prescribed PPE and follow safety instructions; report accidents or near misses immediately.
• Follow supervisor directions; do not operate alone.
