Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Deer Park, TX is seeking an Environmental Technician II to join our safety‑conscious team. This is a physically intensive role involving confined space entry, working at heights, and operating diverse industrial equipment.

You will set up and monitor cleaning pumps and circulators, follow strict safety procedures, and contribute to reliable environmental service delivery while maintaining PPE and readiness for emergency calls. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General labor experience is a plus.
• Experience in chemical cleaning is a plus.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
• Valid driver's license or identification card.
• MUST have transportation to and from work.
• CDL (Class A Preferred).
• Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevations.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lbs.
• Physically capable of standing and or walking continuously for extended periods of time if necessary.
• Physically capable of climbing, bending / stooping, and kneeling continuously.

Responsibilities

• Must always come to work fit for duty.
• Operate and set up cleaning equipment such as pumps, hoses, and circulators in accordance with job schematics and safety procedures.
• Monitor equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain personal PPE.
• Work safely around heavy machinery in loud industrial environments.
• Maintain and perform premaintenance on equipment.
• Help install, fix, repair valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and related components.
• Assist in inspection of equipment and area; inform supervisor of deficiencies.
