The Industrial Engineering Technician supports time studies, methods and capacity work at a Carrier manufacturing facility, helping the industrial engineering team continuously improve the lines.
Supports time studies, methods analysis and line balancing.
Updates standard work, capacity data and visual aids.
Assists in updating layouts and material-flow diagrams.
Collects and analyzes productivity and efficiency data.
Supports continuous-improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Supports the optimization of production lines.
Set ERP/MES parameters for labor hours.
Technical/associate degree
2+ years of experience supporting industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
Degree or trade school experience in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience with time studies, methods analysis and line balancing.
Ability to develop and update standard work, capacity data and visual aids.
Proficiency in Excel and basic data-analysis tools.
Ability to read layouts, blueprints and process documentation.
Experience supporting production line optimization and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Excel and data-analysis tools.
Knowledge of Lean.
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
