Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support time studies, methods and capacity work at a Carrier manufacturing facility, helping the industrial engineering team continuously improve the lines.

Qualifications

Requires a technical/associate degree and 2+ years in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
Preferred: degree or trade school in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience with time studies, methods analysis and line balancing is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Excel and basic data-analysis tools is required or highly preferred.
Ability to read layouts, blueprints and process documentation.

Responsibilities

Supports time studies, methods analysis and line balancing.
Updates standard work, capacity data and visual aids.
Assists in updating layouts and material-flow diagrams.
Collects and analyzes productivity and efficiency data.
Supports continuous-improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Supports production line optimization and ERP/MES parameter setup for labor hours.
