Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Deployables unit in Goleta/Oxnard seeks an Engineering Technician to support Industrial engineering team Continuous Improvement efforts. You will perform hands-on tasks across improvement projects, helping with 5S, Kaizen, and facility cleanliness while collaborating with a team.

The role requires a high school diploma with 2 years in industrial engineering or CI, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel between Oxnard and Goleta.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or continuous improvement role.
• Experience managing multiple continuous improvement projects simultaneously.
• Must have experience collecting and evaluating data from end users.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be willing to travel between Oxnard and Goleta, CA sites as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs hands on activities/tasks associated with various continuous improvement projects.
• Tasks may include tool control, establishing 5S systems, supporting Kaizen projects, maintaining cleanliness of work area and facilities, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance safety, quality, cost and scheduling.
