Actalent is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician for hands-on support of new product launches and manufacturing operations in Chicago, IL. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes design of fixtures and workstations, process improvements, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

The ideal candidate has an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, with strong mechanical aptitude and some CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar technical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
• Exposure to manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Basic 3D CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with NPI, Lean Manufacturing, tooling/fixtures, or time studies is a plus.

Job Title: Industrial Engineering Technician

Great entry level opportunity for Associates or Bachelors degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology graduates!

We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support new product launches and manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role working with engineering and production to improve processes, develop fixtures and workstations, and support new products on the manufacturing floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHICAGO, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
