Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering leader for our Salt Lake City site in the aerospace sector. You will bridge customer requirements with shop-floor capability, ensuring the team has what it needs to deliver and shaping long-term direction.

You will partner with senior leadership on metrics, cost, safety, and delivery, while guiding continuous improvement across the plant and coordinating across global sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and data analytics/statistics.
• Proven leadership experience, comfortable presenting to senior leadership, and a track record of developing others.
• Open to periodic travel between global sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Industrial Engineering staff across two manufacturing sites.
• Partner with executive leadership on reporting, root-cause analysis, and program reviews.
• Support production rate readiness for legacy and new programs.
• Partner with Operations on safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics, and own capital planning for the Salt Lake City site.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and Six Sigma, and own layout strategy for 600,000+ sq. ft. of production space.
