Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Manager of Industrial Engineering to lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of industrial engineering systems across manufacturing and prefabrication operations. You will apply Lean Six Sigma, data‑driven methods, and best practices to optimize workflows, enhance quality, and reduce waste.

A strong team leadership focus will drive standardized work and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or production systems.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams or programs.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, value‑stream mapping, standardized work, and production systems.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrialized construction, or prefabrication environments preferred.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred; PE licensure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of production systems and industrial engineering initiatives.
• Design and optimize workflows, layouts, material handling, and standardized work to improve throughput and quality.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, value‑stream mapping, and work measurement to eliminate waste.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
• Establish and maintain production standards, labor standards, and operational metrics.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
• Guide quality control, inspection, and compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Support adoption of new products and technologies to enhance scalability.
