Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Manager of Industrial Engineering to lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of industrial engineering and production systems across manufacturing and prefabrication environments.

You will mentor engineers, drive standardized work, and apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve productivity, and ensure quality and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years in industrial/manufacturing engineering or related area.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams or improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, standardized work, and work measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of production systems and processes.
• Design and optimize workflows, layouts, and material handling for productivity and quality.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and time studies to eliminate waste and improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
• Establish production standards, labor standards, and process documentation.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability and quality.
• Guide quality control and compliance activities to meet standards and customer requirements.
• Support adoption of new products, technologies, and automation to scale operations.
