Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support the manufacturing plant with project work and hands-on assignments. You will gain exposure to industrial engineering activities, including process mapping, line balancing, and layout optimization, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree (sophomore or junior) and bring strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing soph or junior year in Engineering or related technical field, strongly preferred
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving and strong analytical skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering team with multiple projects supporting manufacturing.
• Map processes to optimize workflow and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Redesign and optimize layouts for improved efficiency.
• Conduct line balance reviews of assembly lines.
• Perform time studies and contribute to standards development
