The intern will observe and document manufacturing and administrative processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements based on industrial engineering principles. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel. The internship lasts ~10–12 weeks, offering a competitive hourly rate.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in lean manufacturing, time studies, process mapping, or Six Sigma.
Comfortable spending hours on the manufacturing floor for direct observation.
Responsibilities
Observe current-state manufacturing processes to document actual practices.
Conduct data analysis to quantify cycle times and process variation.
Propose and pilot improvements based on observations.
