Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Welding Engineering Technology, Industrial, Mechanical or other related Engineering field for the entire duration of the internship.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred; exposure to welding, machining or fabrication is a plus.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD software and Lean concepts (5S) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Audit and update work instructions, routings, and bills of materials.
• Improve material handling methods and productivity.
• Learn to solve real-time operations problems using Lean tools.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Assist with plant layout and workstation design.
