Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to support Manufacturing Engineering in Murfreesboro, TN. You will audit work instructions, improve material handling, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while learning ERP tools and CAD.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Welding Engineering Technology, Industrial, Mechanical or related field.
Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
Welding, machining, or fabrication experience preferred.
Exposure to cell/work center layout and 2D/3D CAD software.
Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

Audit and update work instructions, routings, and bills of materials.
Improve material handling methods and solve real-time operations problems using Lean tools.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Journey and support manufacturing layouts.
Provide technical support to production personnel and assist with tooling.
Learn ERP manufacturing software and document new product launches.
