Job summary

MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 at our Fayetteville, Arkansas office. You will gain hands-on IE experience in process improvement, cost reduction and documentation projects.

You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teams to implement improvements. Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors pursuing IE/Manufacturing Eng, with strong analytical and computer skills including MS Office, Power BI, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Junior or Senior year with transcripts available upon request.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; internship in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review process flow using Lean principles (Kanban, Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
• Assist in improving current manufacturing and shipping processes.
• Collect data and perform analysis for process improvements.
• Assist in implementing new processes.
