Job summary

MARSHALLTOWN is seeking Mechanical Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in Fayetteville, AR. Gain hands-on experience testing and developing new products, while contributing to ongoing product improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Production, work through life-cycle stages, and apply your analytical skills to data collection and testing procedures. Some prior coursework and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; transcripts may be requested.
• Strong analytical skills and computer skills including AutoDesk Inventor and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication in a collaborative environment and passion for detail.

Responsibilities

• Test, design, and prototype new products.
• Propose improvements or enhancements for current products.
• Collaborate with Production on product design to simplify manufacturing.
• Participate in product development objectives through life cycle stages.
• Help develop in-house testing procedures and collect data for analysis.

MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Mechanical Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 term in our Fayetteville, Arkansas office location. You will gain hands-on mechanical engineering experience testing and developing new products and improving products for our customers.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Test, design, and prototype new products
• Work with current products to recommend improvements or enhancements
• Work with Production on product design to simplify manufacturing
• Involvement in product development objectives throughout various stages of the life cycle
• Developing in-house testing procedures
• Data collection and analysis

Qualifications: Qualifications of the Position Include:
