Job summary

Axcelis Technologies, Inc. in Beverly, MA is seeking a Warehouse Operations co-op for a 6-month assignment.

You will support the Operations Technology team with continuous improvement, operational analysis, and optimization at our state-of-the-art warehousing center. The ideal candidate is an engineering student with industrial engineering focus, some software experience, and a drive to apply analytical skills to manufacturing logistics.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Interest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and technology integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and sustaining operations processes to improve logistics, applied labor, and manufacturing quality.
• Document and Train operators on custom applications introduced to streamline operations.
• Analyze operational data and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.
