Job summary

Axcelis Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Software Engineering Co-op in Beverly, MA to support our Operations Technology team. You’ll work on ERP integrations, custom applications, and data-driven decision‑making in a manufacturing context.

This six-month onsite co-op offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real projects that shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing technology.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with database setup and integration (MSSQL).
• Interest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and technology integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining ERP integrations with manufacturing systems.
• Support the development of custom applications to streamline operations.
• Analyze operational data and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.
