This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of manufacturing logistics, technology, and data-driven decision-making.The ideal candidate is an engineering student with industrial engineering and some software experience who is eager to apply their skills in a manufacturing logistics and operations-focused environment.**What You'll Do*** Assist in implementing and sustaining operations processes to improve logistics, applied labor, and manufacturing quality.* Document and Train operators on custom applications introduced to streamline operations.* Analyze operational data and contribute to process optimization initiatives.* Work closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.* Document findings and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.**What We're Looking For*** Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial Engineering or a related field.* Interest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and technology integration.* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.* Preferred Qualifications:+ Experience with databases (SQL).+ Familiarity with data analysis tools: Python, PowerBI, Advanced Excel+ Understanding of data visualization and analysis techniques.This co-op provides real-world experience in a manufacturing environment where technology meets operations. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression asyou develop within the role.Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in theAxcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regularemployees working 20+ hours a week).
