Job summary

Generac is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives across the value chain, implementing policies, procedures, and documentation to support continuous improvement within operations at our Belvidere, IL facility.

You will drive NPI coordination, support technology transfer, and optimize mix-flow production, leveraging CAD tools and lean principles to reduce costs and improve efficiency while collaborating with shop floor personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and documentation.
• Ability to work across functions and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate NPIs within operations to ensure successful launches.
• Contribute to facility transformation and technology transfer initiatives.
• Develop and deploy standard tools, practices, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with shop floor personnel to improve manufacturing methods and controls.
• Analyze processes to reduce costs and improve throughput.
