Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Process/ManufEngineering Engineer/Technician to join Site Process/Manufacturing Engineering. The role focuses on plant layout optimization, project budgeting, and site coordination to support multi-site manufacturing projects.

You will manage timelines, define building standards, and help ensure successful ramp-up for deliveries, collaborating with local teams and suppliers in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Industrial Engineering: plant layout, time studies, processes, etc.
• Experience using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Experience solving industrial engineering issues in high-speed manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan plant layout to reduce square footage and number of buildings.
• Define project perimeters: products, technologies, location.
• Define project budget targets.
• Investigate and propose site selections.
• Define and pilot project timing and milestones.
• Define building standards and related documents.
• Support sites in defining building specifications for projects.
• Ensure project management with local teams and report on progress.
• Manage project costs and savings and coordinate interfaces between sites.
• Contribute to the industrial plan of the Product Group in line with the MTP.
