Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation seeks an Industrial Engineer to drive Lean initiatives, standardize processes, and validate layout changes across production cells. You will perform time studies, 5S, Gemba walks, and create visual SOPs to improve safety and efficiency.

Using AutoCAD or DraftSight for 2D layouts and Windchill for document control, you will design optimal plant layouts, material handling systems, and warehouse arrangements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field required.
3–5 years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement.
Experience with 2D layout design and document control tools (AutoCAD/DraftSight/Windchill).

Responsibilities

Resolve CMC503-related issues and optimize system flow and routing.
Coordinate SFC Web issues between Production and IT teams.
Develop system flowcharts and comprehensive process improvement plans.
Manage Work Order changes and product switchovers.
Verify NG/Repair/Rework flowcharts with cross-functional teams.
Conduct Virtual Trial Runs before new production launches.
Collaborate with China team to align on system logic.
Create and revise SOPs with Windchill; design visual SOPs.
