The role oversees production scheduling, quality, and personnel, applying lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. You will drive safety improvements and cross-functional projects, collaborate with supervisors and hourly staff, ensure ISO 9000/14000 compliance, and manage documentation for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years overseeing finishing and tooling in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Six Sigma or other structured quality/lean environments.
• Proven ability to drive productivity improvements and implement waste reduction initiatives.
• Ability to lead cross-functional change across a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across safety performance.
• Reduce waste, scrap, rework, and downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for performance and execution.
• Improve first-pass quality of finished components.
• Increase overall productivity in the area.
• Reduce consumption of water, gas, and electricity.
• Partner with supervisors and hourly staff for learning and development.
• Ensure ISO 9000/14000 compliance for the role.
• Provide site support for data management and consolidation projects.
• Plan and implement engineering changes with clear documentation.
• Coordinate with Production and Purchasing to manage material impacts.
• Keep engineering stakeholders informed on change status.
• Coordinate inventory rotation to minimize scrap and rework.
