Job summary

Staff Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial/Engineering professional to support the relocation and setup of manufacturing tooling for a new model. The role involves documenting WITS, coordinating with plant teams, and ensuring accurate layouts for future stations.

Responsibilities include creating kitting and sequencing layouts, applying PFEP data, and verifying drawings against as-built conditions. Collaboration with IEs, IT, and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Industrial/Manufacturing/LMS engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Material Strategy and Kitting principles.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; FactoryCad knowledge preferred.
• Team player, proactive, able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Field check WITS documentation for equipment in each station.
• Attend WITS deep dives for process changes and document moves of equipment to future locations.
• Coordinate with Execution MEs to obtain future tooling for the new model.
• Document all new tooling in all production stations.
• Print equipment labels for relocated, abandoned, or remaining equipment.
• Manage labeling of equipment in future process stations.
• Oversee shutdowns and document future equipment for new model process.
• Maintain WITS and document changes during pilot builds to new process.
