Job summary

IFCO SYSTEMS US, LLC in the United States is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive process improvements, set work standards, evaluate costs, and validate expenditures across manufacturing operations. You will document procedures, map process flows, optimize floor space, and lead strategic projects aligned with the Director, Service Centre Excellence.

Collaboration with operations teams and suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing; 2–5 years in automated manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD software or layout/process flow mapping.
• Experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Strong lean manufacturing experience.
• Experience with automated productions.
• Experience in supplier management/equipment design and compliance to specifications.
• Working knowledge of FMS.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods and work standards using work measurement techniques.
• Identify and recommend changes to operational processes and equipment with analysis.
• Perform cost studies, economic comparisons and justification analysis.
• Optimize floor space, materials, personnel and equipment.
• Support operations teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
• Lead delivery of initiatives under the global service center strategy.
• Maintain site drawings for design improvements and flow mapping.
• Other tasks as assigned.
