Brunswick's Mercury Marine division in Fond du Lac, WI, seeks a Quality professional to support engine machining, lead ISO audits, and drive continuous improvement. You will interpret GD&T, inspect with calipers/micrometers, and collaborate to resolve issues across the organization.

Competenze

• Two or more years of experience in complex machining operations, quality assurance, and/or dimensional inspection techniques.
• In lieu of a degree, five or more years of experience in complex machining operations, quality assurance, and/or dimensional inspection techniques.
• Commitment to health and safety in both the office and plant environments.
• Proficient knowledge of PC software including the latest Windows software.
• Experience with data mining and ability to collect and transfer information into presentable formats (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining and metrology.
• Familiarity with GD&T and the ability to read and understand blueprints, tolerances, and symbols.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills across all levels.

Mansioni

• Deliver quality support to production with an emphasis on engine machining.
• Troubleshoot complex production problems related to process variation.
• Access print specifications on computer; interpret GD&T, tolerances, and key product features.
• Perform basic dimensional part inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Organize and direct quality spill and containment activities.
• Support nonconforming material process as required.
• Lead tagging, sorting, and inspecting suspect product.
• Communicate quality spill containment findings.
• Create standardized work, quality alerts, and training materials.
• Perform internal ISO process audits as directed.
• Engage in SIR (Sample Inspection Report) processes.
• Interpret histograms and control charts in statistical reports.
• Contribute to LSS training and projects.
• Participate in formal problem-solving teams and corrective actions.
